You have made my day!

Good Morning!

Hope you are having a great week.  I've got a cute card to share with you today.  I made this card to send to a friend who gave me a bunch of recipe books and a really nice butcher block.  I thought since she made my day, I would make hers.  I plan on including a Starbucks gift card with my card as well.

For my card base I used the A2 Card Bases 1 Cutting Files.  The Ladybug is from the Lucky Ladybug Cutting Files.  The grass and mushrooms are from the Gnomies Cutting Files.  The sun is from the Day at the Beach Cutting Files.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Have a great week.

Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Anything Goes Blog Hop

Welcome to the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Anything Goes Blog Hop!

If you came here from Leah's blog, you are in the right place.  If you just stumbled upon this post and would like to start from the beginning, please visit the Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons blog.

The theme for this hop is Anything Goes. So, we are using our imaginations to create fun projects using Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons files.

For my project today I thought it would be fun to use a sketch as my inspiration.  I found this sketch over at The Deconstructed Sketch.  You can view more about the Sketch DS187 here.  The sketch is below.

Here is my take on the sketch.

For the card base & my patterned paper background I used the NEW Stitched Shapes Cutting Files.  The sentiment shape is from the Sentiment Spots 1 Cutting Files.  The hearts are from the Flamingos in Love Cutting Files.  The Raccoon is from the Forest Critters Cutting Files.  The Circle is from the Ornament Trio Cutting Files.  The Rectangle is from the A2 Card Bases 1 Cutting Files.

The sentiment is from My Creative Time's Lots of Love Stamp set.

Hey....Y'all!

Happy Wednesday!

Do you ever buy some stuff with good intentions on using it but then never do?  I did that a while back with a couple of stamp sets.  I bought these stamps so long ago that I don't even remember who made them.  Oops.  I finally remembered the name of the company (K Andrews Designs) and thought it was about time that I finally make the projects that I was planning on making.

The card base is from the Photo Frames 2 Cutting Files.  The hay is from the Nativity 1 Cutting Files.  The little chick is from the Cute Chicks Cutting Files.  The Farmer Girl is from the On the Farm Cutting Files.   Her face is from Peachy Keen's In the Garden Face Assortment.

Nanne also used the Farm Girl on her layout yesterday.  You can check it out here.

Hogs & Kisses

Good Morning!

Melisa here with another Valentine's Day card to share with you.  I thought I would get a head start on making Valentine's Day cards this year.  I'm going to enter this into the Made with Love Challenge.  You can find all the details about the Challenge HERE.

I used the NEW Friday Freebie called Made with Love Tag Cutting Files for my card base.  In the Silhouette Studio I cut the top of the tag off and then replicated the shape.  Then I welded them together to form my card base.

The pig is from the Farm Critters Cutting Files.  Her bow and the hearts are from the Safari Love Cutting Files.  They are on the Elephant in that cutting file.  The grass is from the Flower Assortment Cutting Files.

The sentiment is from Jaded Blossom's Funny Valentine Stamp Set.

You're the Bread to my butter

Happy New Year's Eve!!

Before I get to my project today I just want to wish everyone a Safe and Happy New Years.  My hubby, kids and I will be spending the holiday at his parents house.  Do you have any special plans for the holiday?

In January my hubby and I will have been together 15 years.  In July we will be married for 10 years.  I thought I would make a scrapbook layout about us.

For the shape of the pattern paper in the background I used the Layered Labels 1 Cutting Files.  The Bread and Butter are from the Bread & Butter Cutting Files.
The title is from one of my Quickutz fonts that I've had forever.  The twine is Pink Sorbet from The Twinery.

Thanks for stopping by today!  See ya next year!

Happy New Year!
